On February 26th, the 3rd Vietnam International Fashion, Textile and Textile Technology Expo (VIATT) was held at the Saigon Convention and Exhibition Center (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
The exhibition area of this year is 18000 square meters. The exhibition gathered nearly 460 exhibitors from 21 countries and regions, with a strong lineup of national and regional exhibition groups, including India, China, Taiwan, China, and Germany, which returned to China again. The exhibition site will also set up exhibition areas in Europe, Japan, Vietnam and the newly launched Türkiye exhibition area.
Professional buyers from Asia Pacific and around the world gathered in Ho Chi Minh City. VIATT welcomes nine professional buyer delegations from six countries and regions including Australia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand, India, and Vietnam.

Clothing fabrics and fashion
With Vietnam’s significant advantage in the clothing manufacturing industry, several well-known Italian exhibitors will make their debut next year. Thomas Mason, a subsidiary of Albini 1876 Group, is renowned for his revolutionary style and creativity, specializing in cotton and linen shirts and casual clothing fabrics; Drago SpA carefully selects high-quality wool materials from Australia, New Zealand, and Mongolia to create men’s clothing fabrics.
Japanese exhibitors have gained a lot from previous exhibitions, with multiple Japanese companies participating. Highlight enterprises include: Murata Machinery Co., Ltd., a well-known supplier of machinery and yarn; High end knitted fabric manufacturer Yagi Corporation; And Tamura Koma Co., Ltd., which provides a full industry chain of products from fibers to finished garments.
Other international exhibitors in the clothing industry include: Yichai Fashion Trading Company, which specializes in various types of triacetate fiber fabrics and jacquard fabrics; Alumo AG, a leading supplier of island cotton and Egyptian cotton shirt fabrics; And Thomas Clifford Ltd, which specializes in providing design wool fabrics for internationally renowned brands and high-end tailoring workshops.
Household and commercial textiles
Although Vietnam’s clothing industry has the most outstanding strength, with the acceleration of urbanization, the continuous expansion of the middle class, and the booming tourism industry, the demand for household and commercial textiles is also continuing to rise. Therefore, multiple participating companies plan to expand their market through this opportunity, including: Gu Le Shi Life Technology Co., Ltd., a leading supplier of bio based polyurethane bedding products; Hangzhou Huafang Fabric Co., Ltd. specializes in various jacquard fabrics, plain weave fabrics, and outdoor fabrics suitable for home decoration; And Hangzhou Shengtaike Textile Co., Ltd. will focus on showcasing products such as flame retardant shading, double-sided shading, and roller shutter fabrics.
Industrial textiles and textile technology
Industrial textiles and textile processing technology are widely used in various fields from agriculture to mechanical engineering, playing a key role in promoting regional economic development. At VIATT 2026, key exhibitors in this field include Sarex Chemicals, which offers a comprehensive range of textile chemicals, auxiliaries, and high value-added finishing solutions; Meanwhile, UltraTech Asia Ltd showcased its EverShield ® Fabric protection technology – polymer coating covers each fiber, significantly enhancing the durability of the product by forming a complex protective matrix.
In addition, the Institute of Artificial Intelligence Design (AiDLab) received high praise during its exhibition in 2025 and made a comeback at VIATT 2026, showcasing the cutting-edge WiseEye intelligent fabric inspection technology that can automatically detect, classify, and evaluate textile defects. Professor Huang Weiqiang, CEO and Director of AiDLab, talked about the previous exhibition and said, “Our testing system has received a lot of attention because Vietnam has numerous textile factories and garment manufacturers. I am very satisfied with the number of visitors to our booth and have already had substantive discussions with multiple potential partners.
Sustainable exhibitors

This exhibition has launched a trend zone for the first time, providing a forward-looking perspective of the entire industry and offering a panoramic insight into the trends of spring and summer 2027 for the textile industry. Royal Mer, as a long-standing knitwear brand, is renowned for its timeless maritime style clothing and is committed to creating durable designs that can be passed down from generation to generation; Fantasie Militaire draws inspiration from military style, emphasizing functionality, eternity, and the unique value of ‘Made in France’. Viewers can also participate in the workshop on upgrading and rebuilding jewelry, experiencing firsthand the creative process of transforming discarded textiles into unique handmade accessories.
